When you experience a craving, two things are happening:
1. a physical sensation in the body AND
2. your emotional response to those sensations.
We spend a lot of time and money and energy trying to control the physical. It doesn’t work – it’s not supposed to.
Our power lies in our emotional response to what’s happening. Notice where you’re demanding comfort even though your body needs to experience some discomfort in order to change:
“My body is uncomfortable right now.”
𝘛𝘩𝘢𝘵’𝘴 𝘰𝘬.
“I want something that I’m not getting.”
𝘐𝘵’𝘴 𝘰𝘬.
“I’m not doing anything to change the way my body feels right now.”
𝘐𝘵’𝘴 𝘰𝘬.
𝗪𝐞’𝐫𝐞 𝐫𝐞𝐥𝐚𝐱𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐞𝐦𝐨𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐲 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐩𝐡𝐲𝐬𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐥 𝐝𝐢𝐬𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐭.
We’re allowing our bodies to feel exactly as they do in this moment.
This is the small quiet room of acceptance.
This is the 4th-dimention experience of serenity with food.
