Why Can't I Stick to My Diet??
I was smart, capable, sober.
I knew the math of weight loss (calories in vs. out).
I knew the science of low-sugar.
I knew the medicine of plant-based.
I knew the benefits of exercise.
𝐀𝐧𝐝 𝐈 𝐜𝐨𝐮𝐥𝐝𝐧’𝐭 𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐜𝐤 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐚𝐧𝐲 𝐨𝐟 𝐢𝐭.
It’s because I had 𝘵𝘩𝘰𝘶𝘨𝘩𝘵𝘴 so compulsive for food that it felt like something was taking over my body.
I had 𝘧𝘦𝘦𝘭𝘪𝘯𝘨𝘴 that seemed unbearable without a sugar buzz.
I had a 𝘮𝘪𝘯𝘥 habituated to overeating.
And this was what I had to overcome to implement any eating change permanently.
It’s not your fault you “can’t stick to it”. You need to heal your mind first.
