Why Can't I Stick to My Diet??

I was smart, capable, sober. ⁣

I knew the math of weight loss (calories in vs. out).⁣
I knew the science of low-sugar.⁣
I knew the medicine of plant-based.⁣
I knew the benefits of exercise.⁣

𝐀𝐧𝐝 𝐈 𝐜𝐨𝐮𝐥𝐝𝐧’𝐭 𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐜𝐤 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐚𝐧𝐲 𝐨𝐟 𝐢𝐭.⁣

It’s because I had 𝘵𝘩𝘰𝘶𝘨𝘩𝘵𝘴 so compulsive for food that it felt like something was taking over my body.⁣

I had 𝘧𝘦𝘦𝘭𝘪𝘯𝘨𝘴 that seemed unbearable without a sugar buzz.⁣

I had a 𝘮𝘪𝘯𝘥 habituated to overeating.⁣

And this was what I had to overcome to implement any eating change permanently.⁣

It’s not your fault you “can’t stick to it”. You need to heal your mind first. ⁣
