You quit drinking, drugs, smoking - all the big ones.

You’re a miraculous example of sobriety - “one day at a time, recovered from a seemingly hopeless state of body and mind, we do recover” - sobriety.

But you still have a problem. And even though you’ve solved all the others – the ones that threatened your life and your livelihood – this one feels like the one you’re stuck with. The one that may never get solved.

Overeating.

Look, an ice cream binge doesn’t threaten your home or your kids. You’re not going to get arrested for driving under the influence of Oreos. And how many times have you heard “I’d rather be chubby than drunk” from well-meaning sponsors and program friends?

And yet…you’re in pain. A lot of it.

You’re ashamed of hiding the evidence of another binge. You know what to do (eat the right foods in the right amounts) and you want to so badly, but you feel powerless against the nighttime cravings. The weight is piling on, but all your resolve to lose it is totally out the window when you’re face-down in a sheet cake. And you’re baffled to realize that the tools that worked on drugs and alcohol aren’t working the same way on food.

Maybe losing weight just isn’t worth the struggle. But you keep trying, because deep down you know you didn’t put down the bottle only to pick up the cupcakes. You know you deserve freedom from all addictive thoughts, feelings, and behaviors.

Imagine if overeating were no longer an issue.

Not just the weight. But all of it.

Overeating: Solved

Imagine being fully in control of your food choices. You know exactly what to eat to lose the weight for good and stay energized for a full and active life. There’s no fight - you’re done with overeating – so much so that you can even have a treat every once in a while without going off the rails. You’re focused on bigger, better, and more meaningful things like your personal relationships, being of service, connection to your spirituality, professional goals - the things that make your sober life amazing.

Best of all, you’ve mastered mental food chatter and sugar cravings. You’ve reached your goal weight and feel relaxed and at ease in your body. You can experience the full spectrum of emotions – the ups and downs of life – without numbing or buffering with food.

You’re free.

Imagine.

You’re in exactly the right place to make that happen.

Welcome to Sober&Hungry.

My name is Brooke Randolph. I’m a certified nutritionist and weight loss coach, sober friend of Bill W. since 2001, and founder of Sober&Hungry. My passion and purpose is coaching sober women and men to stop overeating and lose weight through the Sober&Hungry Food Freedom Program. S&H clients struggle with intense sugar cravings, mental food chatter, spiraling weight gain - and they fear they just keep trading one addiction for another. I provide compassionate guidance out of addictive food “ism” so they can stick to a healthy eating plan, lose the weight for good, and break free from all dependency.

As the result of the Sober&Hungry Food Freedom program, you’ll set a solid foundation to:

  • Lose the weight by re-wiring your brain’s overdrive for food, so that you quiet the urge to overeat.

  • Master your sugar cravings with serenity so that you’re back in the driver’s seat, and an occasional treat doesn’t send you over the edge.

  • Increase your emotional sobriety so that you feel better without overeating, no matter what

  • Stop fighting food and start living like the you that you know is possible – healthy, happy, fit, and free

Ready to Get Started? Here’s How it Works:

Sober&Hungry Food Freedom Program

1. We start with the Food Freedom Questionnaire

These onboarding worksheets will ask all about you and the food issues you’re struggling with - your history, your current obstacles, and exactly what you hope to accomplish by solving overeating. We’ll get crystal clear on what you need to address your specific food issues,  ensuring that your program is fully customized to you.

2.  Then we build your program in your Stop Overeating Session

In this transformative 90-minute 1:1 session, we’ll talk about what makes the sober stop-overeating journey unique and start building your weight loss kit with the most impactful tools for your journey. You’ll leave this session fully equipped to kickstart your weight loss, overcoming your sugar cravings, and handle the ups and downs of the journey with emotional sobriety.

3.    You’ll stay organized and accountable through your Daily Checklist Journals

You’ll receive daily feedback on these worksheets for continued support and guidance as you use the tools throughout the week. I’ll help you troubleshoot so that you’re guided from novice to expert.  This built-in accountability will ensure that you stay on track and fully supported.

4.    We’ll fine-tune and troubleshoot in your Rest and Digest Session

Seven days after your initial session we’ll regroup in this 45-minute 1:1 session. We’ll discuss your experience, and update your tools with discoveries from Week 1. This “fine-tuning” session will explore the obstacles that arose and equip you with additional tools for the journey ahead. You’ll leave this session with a clear plan of action to truly change your relationship with food and reach your goal weight for good.

By the end of this program, you’ll have the right tools to solve overeating and lose weight...so that you can finally be sober and satisfied.

TESTIMONIALS:

“The weight piece was missing for me. I just didn’t get it… I understood the nutrition, but there was something missing in the actual “doing” part of it. Brooke expertly guided me to the “aha” switch, and I really do not believe I could have found it without her. I honestly loved this process. She is really, really, really good at what she does (like really good). If you need a little (or a lot) of extra help to take yourself to the next level with weight loss—to really get to the bottom of why you think you can’t—Brooke’s your girl.”

-Natalie E.

“I have found peace around food for the first time in my entire life. Coaching is different and dives right into the thinking first - food is important, but not the focus, it is secondary. I have healthfully dropped 50+ pounds in the time I have worked with Brooke. And because it doesn’t go against a thing I do in my 12 step program, which is EXTREMELY important to me, I have found a deeper level of spirituality and growth in my life.

-Wendy D.

“I wasn't sure it was possible to stop binging altogether, but I haven't binged since I started working with Brooke! I have surpassed my goal in that sense. And the scale is down 20+ pounds! I had never tried dealing with my food urges like we did in S&H. It has helped immensely. It has also helped in dealing with urges in my primary recovery program…it was tangible, and it works!”

-Valerie M.

“(Brooke) has walked this path before me so I knew she understood the struggle I was having about things. All the people I worked with prior had no clue what it feels like to struggle mentally with food, compulsive food thoughts, and facing the scale.”

-Amy H.

“Brooke changed my life. My time with her transformed me and made me a better person. I’m so grateful for the personal confidence she’s given me. I was broken, and she helped put me back together. I’ve never experienced anything that has had such a huge impact on my life in such a short amount of time.

-Anna C.

I loved the integrated approach – it’s not just nutrition planning, it’s not just spiritual readjustment around food – it’s the way they both meshed…Brooke has an amazingly kind/present/receptive manner and ability to pivot and address any number of things.”

-Lily R.

“I haven’t found a more effective program for me, as a recovering alcoholic, to lose the weight from chronic overeating and feel like the problem is solved…(and I tried everything).”

- Laura R.

I’m down 52 pounds. I would never have had the tools to do this without Sober&Hungry. FACT! Thank you for changing my life.”
